Welcome to Old Cleeve Church of England First School

Welcome to the Old Cleeve School website. We are delighted that you have taken the opportunity to find out about our popular and successful village school.

This is an exciting time for all of us at Old Cleeve. Our recent OFSTED inspection judged all areas to be either good or outstanding and this was confirmed by the local diocese. Highlighted was the high quality teaching and learning which have led to children leaving Old Cleeve School with standards of attainment above expectation.

We have a rising role and have planned for a second ICT suite, extra covered play areas and a further space for small group work. From September we shall be adding a fifth class in order to avoid mixed age teaching. Together with Danesfield Church of England School we have gained International School Status through our links with Spain.

All pupils in Years 3 & 4 learn Spanish and they will take their GCSE before leaving Danesfield. If you would like to take a closer look at what we offer in Old Cleeve, please contact us to make an appointment – we would love to see you.
